Not every child relishes physical activity, so FACT offers a variety of performing arts programs each year. These activities are often held on weekday evenings for six to eight weeks. Participant criteria varies, but at FACT we always try to be as inclusive as possible. Working collaboratively toward a performance, concert, or recital fosters teamwork and enhances relationships. Best of all, performing instills confidence and bolsters self-esteem.
At FACT we feel obliged to offer a creative outlet for individuals with autism to express themselves. When language is difficult or even absent, art can connect people more deeply to the world and create a foundation to forge social bonds and community integration. Whether it be painting, sculpting or photography or even crafting, art allows us all to share ourselves and our vision.
