The mission of Tween Time is to practice social skills and develop friendships.
Tween Time is for individuals ages 11-14.
Tween Time is an accepting environment, where all participants are appreciated for their individuality, and treat each other with respect and kindness.
Participants should minimally be able to carry on a simple conversation, follow multi-step directions, have a clear understanding of dangerous situations, and be able to visit the restroom alone.
Appropriate behavior is mandatory and we have a zero tolerance for bullying of any kind.
Tween volunteers and adult chaperones are provided on a 1:8 ration to foster independence.
RSVP is required for all students and volunteers at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled event.
Events require a $15 fee. Individuals who receive Medicaid or reduced lunch in school can attend for $8
Parents are responsible for transportation to and from the meeting site. Parents may not drop off and pick up at certain large venues as it presents a safety issue.
New participants will receive a confirmation email containing a waiver of liability, behavior contract, and contact information sheet. These documents must be on file prior to participation.
Fees will be paid in advance, either on-line via the provided link or by check which must be received at the FACT offices 48 hours before the activity.
Refunds will be given in the form of a company check to those who cancel at least 24 hours in advance. We will not hold your registration fee for a subsequent activity.
